With this dad Sascha will never win a slam. He was bad today. But his team is not a professional coaching team.
Con grats Novak! Better player today by far!

Very curious to see the SF against Sinner. Djokovic exploited Zverev's terrible north/south movement tremendously with his dropshots today. That strategy will be almost impossible against Sinner because a) Sinner's movement is much better and b) Playing dropshots off of Sinner's insane pace will be much more difficult.

Sascha as always super passive, good riddance he is out.

I predict Sinner will dominate Novak, losing a maximum of 10 games.

Slamrev must be one of the most strange mental cases in the history of this sport.
I'm still baffled if it was his diabetes or just the usual mental collapse that turned him into one big UE machine from the middle of 2nd set onwards. In the 4th he had at 2-3 chance to break back, Djokovic in the ropes at 30-40; all Zveres needed to do was bury a simple smash volley...he proceeds to hit it whimply fairly middle of the court o_O

Djokovic played well but also he was allowed to dictate play as his opponent is Mr.Passive.
Zverev expects to win slams by beeing passive;that will never work.
Djokovic probably played more dropshots today then in all his other matches combined.
I read this quickly as "Zverev expects to win slams by peeing passive". ... ... ... hmm, makes sense either way. To-may-to to-mah-to. And yes, you're spot on.

I told you hes gonna beat him easily and you called me delusional. What do you have to say now?
It wasn't as easy as you predicted in 3 sets though.
Even in last game Zverev came back to deuce. At least Novak converted 4/8 BPs today

Impressive from Novak. I don’t expect him to beat Sinner but wouldn’t completely shock me if Nole somehow beat him but then that would ruin the final that tennis needs in a slam Carlos vs Jannik.

Can all players born in the 90s just collectively fucking retire please? Only Thiem can hold his head up high out of any of them. Thank god we have two future all time greats in the picture to save this joke of an era.
Good times create weak men. We will never fully understand how GOATed the 90s were before internet went just a touch too mainstream and ruined the world.

Sascha gave up on himself long ago. It's unfortunate.

Lol what a low rat cheating and abusing dropshots to win because he cant win in another way 🤣

Pathetic Fraudovic as usual, I hope Carrotboy will crush him.
What is abusing Drop shots? Its part of the game. It's like abusing forehands!!
He made good use of it to challenge Zverev's baseline stance and to keep it unpredictable.
When bublik does it its art work and when Novak does it it is abuse!! I dont know why I am even replying to this!!

Djokovic gave the break in the first game, not finding his best serve soon enough.
He found is best level yet this year. He was serving almost 89 percent at one point in the second set. Why couldnt he do that right away !!. He accelerated his forehand when needed and used drop shots cleverly. Kept using in good intervals just enough to not make it predictable.
Will this level be enough against Sinner. Sinner is fresh from his quick exploits but hasn't faced a worthy opponent yet. Novak is tired from Geneva and here and has confidence of beating Zverev.

It is going to be interesting
