Djokovic's performance to beat Zverev at QF again show that the Serb, if being motivated, can still be able to perform at a top level, and people should not write him off yet.

I must say I didn't expect two things: 1) Nole winning and 2) how much entertaining that was.

He pulled every trick there is. Zillion drop shots. Serve and volley. Moonballing. Ballbashing. You name it, he tried it. And in the end, it worked as Zverev was bamboozled entirely, and for a vast majority of the match was just a spectator. I think he will have nightmares of all those short balls.

Good match by Novak. Exploited all Zverev's weaknesses - stayed concentrated through 2-4 sets and made some breathtaking points and gets reminding us who he is and how he is always working on every aspect of the game. I think he has a chance against Sinner.

Like I said in the Live Commentary Thread: will never understand how the guy with power and height like Zverev can be such a gutless pusher. He made Djokovic look like Bublik out there in terms of variety with endless drop-shots and S&V at the most important moments like in the last game. Even during neutral rallies it was Novak who tried to create some angles and active play, Zverev is just happy standing behing the baseline and hitting the ball right into Djokovic's hands. This guy is an embodiment of boring tennis and hopefully never gets the Slam.
