I'm afraid if Sinner doesn't find his game and service again, Alca might go undefeated for the rest of the season, and maybe even more.

Not really ... Sinner should OWN all hardcourt matches up over Alcaraz. These conditions should be his backyard. While Alcaraz owns clay.. And maybe they split grass. The fact Sinner is constantly destroyed by Alcaraz on all these hardcourts if pretty concerning if I was in the Sinner camp coaching. Especially when hes serving 45-50 percent.
This rivalry does not seem to be determined by court speed. But by mental and physical shape

something definitely wrong with sinner, most likely physically.

it’s telling that his box was mostly silent, if they knew he was healthy they would have been more active trying to change the match.

but congrats to the newcomer servebot of the tour
Cahill was pretty much standing up the entire 3rd. Not sure if that counts as trying to change the match but I don't remember them standing so often this season, not even in Rome or RG

Not the best match but could have been worse. Sinner was far from his best while Alcaraz was amazing throughout the tournament, his best GS run in his career level wise for sure. If he can keep playing like this most of the time or even close to it he is going to be a monster. It's also the first time Carlos beats Sinner in a grand slam in less than 5 sets. Sinner is still on a 5 slam finals streak and other than Alcaraz no one really can truly trouble him.

Congratulations Carlitos!! Absolutely different class. Highest peak level ever!! The fact he is now a servebot added into to everything else is really going to make him an unstoppable force. 6 GS titles at 22 years, incredible. 🔥 😍

Final wasnt a classic no real tight sets always felt whoever got the early break would win that set, very few geniune moments of tension except when Sinner saved 1st 2 MPs 😬. Sinner serve didn't really do much damage today. I haven't seen it this ineffective in a long time, not sure if it was a physical or mental issue with him or if Carlos's return was just too good.

Glad to see best player in the world is back at the no 1 spot where he belongs!! 😄

Overall I could say maybe Sinner needs to rest up maybe until late indoors as wear and tear as seen since Cinci has been affecting him although his B-level is still enough to beat all players except A-level Alcaraz IMO.

Good stuff from Alcaraz, but a poor performance by Sinner.

Still, it was a great grand slam season for both of them. The field, not so much :)

Carlos the clear favourite to finish No 1. If Jannik can win Beijing, Shanghai, Paris and Turin, he may be in with a shot subject to Charlie's performances.
