They would be even more unbearable than they are now which is hard to imagine. Thank god catastrophy was prevented although unfortunately for tennis catastrophy already happened in Wim 19.
That was the biggest catastrophe possible. It's still haunting me sometimes

A lot of these posts give a good chuckle; no diss at any of these posters...2 years especially when the dude is an up and comer is a loooong time. It's just funny to see what happened since.

Lol what a ridiculous statement. Name me single Grand Slam or Masters 1000 title for Sinner. Done? I thought so. He has never won any. While Alcaraz won 2 Masters 1000 and 1 Grand Slam so far already. And he's 2 years younger!

Sinner will never win Grand Slam at this rate. Perhaps few Masters 1000 titles are possible, but Grand Slam? Nah sorry.

Reactions: Time Violation
Sinner coming back from RG to win Wimbledon is much bigger than Alcaraz coming back from Wimbledon to win USO because while Alcaraz already won a USO title, Sinner was widely derided and mocked for his lack of grass titles/success despite the obvious signs. I was proved right when almost everyone on MTF doubted him.

And now they doubt him again. Feel free to sleep on Sinner again while he cooks up a training regime with his team to improve big time in the coming months.

That thread was really bold back then and in some parts right, especially when Sinner would have won RG too.
Now, it looks more like they are par, but in H2H Alcaraz is clearly leading.

This thread is also a reminder of the remarkable transformation Sinner had under Darren Cahill. He had his fans who believed he would get to number 1. There were people like myself who thought he could get one or two majors.

The good news for Sinner is that he can improve even further. At the time that's what I thought, he needed some more fire in his belly and improve aspects in his game. And under Cahill, he did.

Now he needs to implement the transition game on more occasions during matches. To get out of the baseline only pattern. Sort out his serve problems and he is capable of getting back to number 1 within twelve months.
