Two unseeded players in a Masters final. Where have we got?

As for the outcome, the Monégasque looks battle-tested and has produced a more complete game throughout this tournament - the serving, the net game, the baseline game. The question is, whether he has enough in the tank and whether his total lack of experience of reaching ATP tour finals will be a factor.

The Monégasque in 3 is my pick.

Many people that write here do not like tenis, they just need names to hate and names to adore....but they dont really know any fucking thing about tennis.
Every tennis player inside the top 1000 is a great GREAT player...every player inside the top 100 would have been number one 20 years ago...thats your fucking weak era you pussy whiners.

I think Rinder Will win this but the important thing is that tennis wins and trolls lose.

Didn’t see it coming at all… 😮 what the hell… oh my…. no words to Meddy or Joker…

all I can say… congrats to the cousins battling in the final… both deserve the title whoever wins… :cheer:

this final will never happen again as long as healthy Siincaraz plays…

People need to understand that every Player not only had to beat the Opponents in front of them but also brutally humid conditions....and two men who could do both the above are deservedly in the Final.

And before most report their amnesia, Sinner was very much in the Draw along with a Dozen other fantastic players who couldnt finish the job. I doubt Alcaraz would have been any better given he himself withdrew.

This shall be a historic Final for many reasons, apart with what these tough Players had to endure.

So cut it with the Weak era nonsense!

Great surprise.
arthur is a semi surprise with last results. He got strong since Wimbledon (and his wedding).
valentin is quite surprised. A win over Struff in Monte Carlo but that s a bit all, no much in ATP or GS qualies so it is a kind of storytell

result is hard to stay as they know each other very well. On tennis pure, I guess it should be Arthur but the management of key points by Valentin this week impressed me

Cousins in a big final is unheard of.
Rinderknech has a lot more matches at tour level and should win.
However his cousin from just across the border in Monaco 🇲🇨 has also been playing like a seasoned veteran.
Tennis 🎾 wins with this storyline.
The family wins!

It's basically Jack Sock vs Filip Krajinovic Paris Masters final ;)
Wow! I would never have picked those two to be cousins!!

All bets are off.
Bad news for the gambling industry, but overall, i think this sounds like a good thing.

World #54 and #204 in the Masters 1000 final... everything you need to know about this joke of a tournament this year.
Except they seemed to play well enough to deserve to get there!

At least we were spared an eyesore of a Djokovic vs Medvedev final (never liked that matchup)

LOL at this final though

@YonaMX I'm sorry Yona but I agree with @artoisdesouza — usually only objective choices are allowed but there are a considerable number of posters (like me) who do agree this is also a win for tennis in a sense it shows the ability of players outside the Top 30 to play Top 30 player level tennis and the odds for this to just happen; delete the last option, or add "tennis wins".

@BodyServe I think people just don't like Norrie's game that much and Basilashvili had that controversy with her wife too — that being said both Vacherot and Rinderknech both beat five seeded players each so I'm not sure what most expect from them as they went far and beyond for sure.

As I already mentioned in the Live Commentary Thread, if we exclude qualifications, both Rinderknech and Vacherot have spent approximately the same amount of time (11 hours and 12 minutes) on court leading up to today's final. That's a very rare coincidence.
