I think Djokovic has lost his confidence on some level and wants to get it back by training and playing hard, and winning some tournament. Other than that, one of his rivalry can get beaten by some dark horse and Djoko can find himself in the final of any slam with 100% form both in head and physically. Lastly, why should he give up playing tennis when he's still making millions per year?

His goal is to stop Alcaraz/Sinner in GOAT race by winning 25. Its already hard to surpass 24, but 25 will be impossible and locked the race.

Djokovic so called prime era 2018-2023 was easier opponents than this though, injured Nadal and finished Federer. He won 12 slams in 5 years compared to his rest of career 12 slams from 2008-2017.

Djoker IS desperate for slam number 25. It does amuse me when Djoker fans deny this fact, and claim he has nothing to prove and is only playing for the love of tennis. That is rubbish. He only turns up at Slams and prays that Alcaraz/Sinner lose. And when they don't, he moans about them in his losing press conferences.
Oh really?

Read my post no.12 on this thread. My prescription for his Success w/ no Excuses/Denials given.

Stereotyping b damned. Nole fans hardly think the same way.

He is just waiting for someone to take out Sinner and Alcaraz out. Pretty much the only way he can win a slam at this age. Too bad the 40-15 posters still can't shut up despite their idol getting mercilessly destroyed by Sinner and Alcaraz.
