Zverev was on the spot long time ago, in the same place that Alcaraz and Sinner are now. He was the chosen one and he fucked It Up Big time...so he should shut the fuck Up and start playing tennis with some dignity and courage and not wtf he is doing right now.

I think the criticism is fair, but slower courts aren’t just to benefit the top 2 (and, as other said, probably doesn’t benefit Sinner as much). However, matches with longer points are generally more exciting; I wouldn’t want to go out of my way to watch a match in person where the guys are hitting aces or ending points by the third shot the whole time.

 

LOL I can't believe this guy is whining & complaining about courts being slowed down, when that's literally his playing style - slowly grinding through points and waiting for opponents to make UEs.

Sure it may hurt his serves, but it perfectly suits and is tailored to his own game.

I don't disagree with him, but the audacity to complain about that as if that's why he's losing to them and stopped winning the big tournaments is absurd. It should help him and give him a better chance to beat both Sinner and Alcaraz than vice versa.

Also, slower conditions isn't tailored towards helping Sinner and Alcaraz make more finals, but in general to make matches a bit longer than if conditions were faster, so fans can get a bigger bang for their buck for ALL matches they come to watch.

Zverev is a complete loser. He is the biggest loser and whiner of all time.

If anything, heavier balls are arguably even more of a problem than slower courts. Despite multiple seasons of complaints, Big Ball & ATP are inducing more shoulder, elbow, & wrist injuries by refusing to lighten them for long term player health & welfare. Players might need to band together stat for a class action lawsuit against the ATP & major manufacturers: Slazenger, Wilson, Dunlop, Yonex.

 

I wanted to see Z win a slam but he has bigger problems than the surface he is playing on right now. He needs to figure out how to beat second tier players like Fritz and Medvedev before even thinking about Sinneraz.

Sinner & Carlos are the aggressive shot makers. If anything faster courts would HELP them.

Zverev on the other hand is a grinder. So unless he change his playing style faster courts wouldn't help him. In fact if anything they would hurt him.

If you look at the Court Pace Index right now, courts are actually generally faster than they were back in 2017, when Roger Federer was winning GS and M1000 and did not seem to think there was any problem with the courts.

As for Zverev, I don't really know why a pusher would complain about courts being slow. The way he talks you'd think he's going out there trying to outpower everybody.

 

God damn tournament organisers... they've ruined everything again for Zverev.

Australia should be medium fast- i guess its fine as is
