carlos clearly the more versatile player. sinner is just a ball basher - hit the ball flat and smack it as hard as you can in the open space. that's all.

a Biden lover was spotted in the crowd. Not sure if he is genuinely interested in tennis or it is just cool to be seen on TV.

Too good from Alcaraz in this match, especially in terms of the plus-one and the baseline consistency. The good serving was just a bonus.
Sinner not good enough today, too errant when it mattered most, not focused enough on key points on the return of serve. He had to do better on the 2nd serve return points which he didn't. His serve didn't do the damage it usually does against Alcaraz, not only because of the 1st serve percentage.

Congratulations to Alcaraz and his fans for winning his second US Open title, a convincing one for a change. Congratulations for coming back to the #1 position as well.

It was a pretty good Grand Slam season for Sinner as well. But he will have to find better levels of execution against Alcaraz outside of grass in order to get the H2H going back in his way. There is no excuse for losing this match the way he did.

Alcaraz's consistency and conversion rate in finals is a nightmare to watch as a Sinner fan, but respect for finding clinical tennis during this tournament and overall.
Honestly, he would've probably lost against Alcaraz in wimbledon 2025 serving like today too, maybe with a closer score but still.

Sinner tried in this last game to inflict the same thing that Alcaraz did to him at RG by bringing fire like never in this match before. But Alcaraz was too solid mentally and so far in their careers Alacaraz has that edge.

Does not explain why Sinner's level was bad today but again, Alcaraz was pretty bad and dominated at RG and still found a way to win.
He missed a passing shot on an Alcaraz DS in that game too. He just played very meh today

Congrats to Alcaraz for the title and returning to #1, clearly the better player today especially comparing the serve. He almost replicated Nadal's 2013 USO SF and F scores, only the 3rd and 4th sets are swapped for the final :D Second straight year Alcaraz and Sinner split half the slams each, looks like this may continue for the next few years.

You again? Do you know anything else than writing bullshit like this? Go back to your hole you pathetic prick. I wonder why you weren't banned for this long ago already.
Poor crybaby but enjoy your rekt anyways hahaha. Keep supporting a boring useless clostebot and doing excuses like a little kid.

Alcaraz has been playing all tournament at a consistently higher level than Sinner, and he is a bad match up too, even if some people prefer to stay in denial about this. He moves better, defends better, has more variety, higher peak.. so I was surprised how so many thought he didn't have a chance. Underrated once again.

I was expecting much more from Sinner though despite his unconvincing run to the final in terms of tennis level. He looked flat from the start, with no conviction in his body language, spraying errors and his first serve was crucially gone. Sadly he was the Shapovalov/FAA version today, and the terrible starts at every set crippled him the whole match. He did well to win one set and avoid a total washout, but you could see it was an impossible task today.

Well its official. Sinner is alcaraz's bitch
Weird knee jerk post. Was Alcaraz Sinner's bitch when he easily beat him at Wimbledon? It's a very even rivalry at the moment, and they've shared the slams this year. Let's see what happens during the indoor swing.

At least Alcaraz dropped a set during this run. It would've been a nightmare for hard court tennis had he won without losing a set. He's not that good on hard courts, even when playing his best.
