Well, not much for me to say here apart from: Congrats to all Alca fans out there! He almost did 40-15, but eventually won.
You know....I hate to agree with this but you do make a good point about the overrated matches. It seems a lot of the older generation of pundits are paid to promote the "evolution of the game" theory which I personally subscribe to but I don't want to get into that. But in terms of the matches, the only real epic was RG25 but ultimately that should have been a straight-forward win by Sinner in 3-4 sets if he learned how to manage those situations better than Alcaraz and had a serve befitting his height (then it would be game over for Baldcaraz).Very avergae final. This matchup is overrated. How many memorable, exciting and high quality encounters had they have? Like 3 or 4 out of 15 meetings? Wimbledon and USO finals were basically one sided, with average quality. RG final is at least memorable, but it was also one point away from being lopsided.
Why posting this sh*t?
Found it hilarious, nothing else.Why posting this sh*t?
The different tennis channels did their best to avoid giving the orange convicted criminal any screen time, for a good reason. Neither Sinner nor Alcaraz addressed him in the trophy ceremony.Found it hilarious, nothing else.
Baldcaraz? How quaint! Yet you folks are the ones quick to demand respectful behavior from Carlitos's fans whenever Jannik loses to him..You know....I hate to agree with this but you do make a good point about the overrated matches. I demanded the behaviour long before I started the nicknames, and I'm done being naïve enough to expect arrogant tards to be respectful so I'll just carry on using nicknames for the sake of banter.Baldcaraz? Perhaps you ought to try practicing what you preach..
Navratilova's comments:The different tennis channels did their best to avoid giving the orange convicted criminal any screen time, for a good reason. Neither Sinner nor Alcaraz addressed him in the trophy ceremony.
But what should I say, it's a free forum. If you think it's worth posting, be my guest.
So the 'arrogant tards' brought you down to their level is what you're saying? Umm ok.. So what are you gonna call Carlitos once his hair grows back? Just curious.I demanded the behaviour long before I started the nicknames, and I'm done being naïve enough to expect arrogant tards to be respectful so I'll just carry on using nicknames for the sake of banter.
It's just banter. No need to overthink this.So the 'arrogant tards' brought you down to their level is what you're saying? Umm ok.. So what are you gonna call Carlitos once his hair grows back? Just curious.
He still needs to with the AO before turning 23 to do that!Well done Charlie, good on ya mate
Stays ahead of Nadal achievements by age
Carlitos still has to master his biggest hurdle at the AO next year if he's to definitively surpass Rafa's tally before turning 23. Otherwise, they both end up with 6 apiece at that point..slam count at 22 years and 4 months
Alcaraz = 6
Nadal = 5
Federer = 1
Djokovic = 1
From your lips to God's ears. That would certainly be a crowning achievement for Carlitos if it does come to pass and an outcome reminiscent of the '09 Final, meaning a likely 5-set marathon as Jannik will be out for blood as he attempts to threepeat and correct the growing h2h deficit he has vs Carlitos.Now we can get a Sincaraz final 2026 AO for Carlos to beat him again and complete the set.
They are really very close in number of slams at the same age now, even if the composition varies.Carlitos still has to master his biggest hurdle at the AO next year if he's to definitively surpass Rafa's tally before turning 23. Otherwise, they both end up with 6 apiece at that point..
And Borg:They are really very close in number of slams at the same age now, even if the composition varies.
Nadal 5th : 2008 Roland Garros 22y 0m 5d
Carlos 5th: 2025 Roland Garros 22y 1m 3d
Carlos 6th: 2025 US Open 22y 3m 30d
Nadal 6th: 2009 Australian 22y 7m 29d
next Nadal is 7th in RG 2010: 24y 0m 3d
For obvious reasons, I can't compare with Borg who doesn't play AO and didn't play RG 1977, when he hadn't yet reached... 21 years old.And Borg:
I am so happy he was booed and the players virtually ignored the felon. Alcaraz mentioned Michelle Obama in glowing terms.The different tennis channels did their best to avoid giving the orange convicted criminal any screen time, for a good reason. Neither Sinner nor Alcaraz addressed him in the trophy ceremony.

Indeed very close. What sets Carlitos apart at this stage is the degree to which he's already been able to master the different slam surfaces with a much more comprehensive record across clay, grass and hc, winning majors on each of those surfaces at least twice. By comparison, Rafa, while still the young prodigy of his generation, was still primarily a clay phenom who was just starting to spread his wings across the other slam surfaces by that time.They are really very close in number of slams at the same age now, even if the composition varies.

Another common fact.Indeed very close.
except Razz doesn't exactly seem the type to spend his Christmas in hard training lol 🍾What's curious is that, for Rafa, the biggest initial slam hurdle was the USO, while for Carlitos, it's the AO.
