It's still unclear what happened between Stan & Fed & Mirka after the 2014 WTF semifinal match, during which Mirka Federer called Stan a "crybaby." Most tennis fans I had word with believe that Stan physically beat Roger in the locker room, which led to Federer's retirement from the final against Djokovic because of Roger's mental and physical injuries.

Here is what Stan said in 2022 about the situation after the match:

“Very, very hot, very, very complicated, on both sides. It’s a good thing there were no cameras in the hallways and locker rooms back then.
“But once again, at some point, when you get caught up in the emotion, for things that don’t necessarily happen because of your fault, you have to know how to take some distance."
Despite the bitter match, Wawrinka said the friends put it behind them so they could team up for the Davis Cup only a few weeks later.
“Don’t forget everything we’ve been through together, let the night and the next day pass, don’t see each other and then simply discuss it," he added.
“We had to remember that we had a Davis Cup to win. I wasn’t going to let a little argument, which became a big one because of the emotions, disrupt this victory.”

For me, the version that Stan physically beat Roger is very realistic. I think most men before the snowflake Generation Z era had fights with their friends. And in some way, it helped Suisse to finally lift the Davis Cup later that year.
Here are fantastic highlights of that great match (both men fight well)

How can anyone in their right mind think Stan Wawrinka phsyically beat up Roger Federer, then had him blubbering on the floor begging for mercy. And then because of that "beating up", he can't play the final the next day.

And Federer is going to allow that to happen, as if Stan is 7 ft tall or something and Federer has to take the beating no questions asked.

And then Federer's wife would just stand there and let it happen like its nothing. And the security guards would just stand there and watch on, even take bets with each other to see who would come out on top?

I haven't heard so much rubbish for a long time

Yeah to be honest the concept of Federer getting beaten so bad he had to retire from a match the next day looks... imaginative.
Dating a hot girl doesn't guarantee happiness. I feel that men that only date women like that are in the closet 🙃
Dating hot girls is fun, marrying one would probably be the worst choice of your life.

Then they're either delusional or started watching tennis after 2014. Federer injured his back in the last couple of points of the semi, is all. Go back and look at the live match commentary and you'll see people picking it out. But I guess that's way too boring for you.
