I mean it has to be destiny right? To be fair Rinderknech had a good run in Beijing too so it isn't too surprising, but he surely was the underdog in the past 2 matches IMO. Rinderknech's serving was top tier and he wasn't afraid to be aggressive. However I think FAA was just kinda B-level today and didn't punish Rinderknech in the rallies IMO.
I think Vacherot and Rinderknech are feeding off each other and I think the belief that they can
genuinely both reach the Final is what's making their confidence high IMO. I don't think there's pressure because they aren't expected to be here, but are driven with a fairytale dream of being under Top 30 players that somehow peaked at the same time to produce some of the best tennis story of the century maybe

. Just like Karatsev it would be hard to imagine that Djokovic would lose to someone not experienced at this level like Vacherot but Djokovic isn't titanium anymore so who knows. I think Rinderknech is a 40:60 underdog against Medvedev IMO but he has a decent chance to reach the dream maiden Masters Final here.
