Apart from completely new territory and lack of any experience at these stages, Vacherot is prob gonna be too gassed after playing 19 sets and spending nearly 15h on court within 10 days since the qualies. Today's 3h match doesn't help him much either.

Novak will likely get it done in 2 sets, Vacherot has also been a very slow starter against the seeded players he's faced so far this week, so I fully expect Novak to win the 1st set and go on to win the match relatively comfortably. It would take a miracle for Vacherot to somehow win this match, which can only happen if Novak will be physically struggling a lot.

 

I really don't want to underate Vacherot but Novak should really know how to prepare and win this one.

Oh, he has several wins. Mostly against Baghdatis - Cyprus is below 1m citizens. Also a few wins against Gilles Muller of Luxembourg. And if I’m not completely mistaken he beat a guy from Andorra once, I forget the name.
