Novak was not at his best most of the match, but the Italian deserved this win given the way he played in sets 1 and 2 and the 4th set breaker. Some Wawrinka-like moments with those down-the-line backhands and some ridiculously good drop shots as well. Congrats!

From 3-3 in the 4th set tiebreak I don't think Cecchinato made a single unforced errors, Nole had to earn his points and gifted at least 2-3 forehands in very key moments
