This new tennis magazine based out of Oslo, Norway looks superb. It's called FINAL Magazine. Very high quality, detailed, the very best writers contributing content, no advertisements, totally subscription, can't wait to get a copy. Haven't been thrilled by tennis magazines since the closure of the old Tennis Week in the early 2000s, which was based out of NYC. Gosh that was a wonderful read every two weeks. If you can find them on ebay, grab em from the 90s.

SI used to have tennis covers quite often, Borg, McEnroe, Lendl, even Kournikova graced the covers. Not sure if Federer or Nadal ever made a cover.

Based on the info on the web site it looks like it's only a printed version magazine. I didn't see the part where you can subscribe to the web site to read the articles inside the print version of the magazine.

Have to assume they will create a net presence eventually, there is a facebook page now. It looks good and very serious and earnest to contribute something special to enhance the sport's coverage which as we know, Reilly Opelka called the tennis media the worst of all the sports media. We can probably guess who he was targeting with that rather blunt condemnation.

Thanks for the tip, @SuperG! I just placed an order - looking forward to getting the first copy.

It's an incredibly nice magazine. Very high quality content, writing, photography. Loved the articles on the court in Scotland, the Mouratoglou interview is super revealing, the guy can talk and he has talked his way into being a very prominent powerful figure in the sport (rumor has it inherited wealth also helped him). Lovely article on Raducanu ) who can get enough of her?, she's more intriguing than the majority of the ATP right now. Baron Gottfried von Cramm feature also a great read, Steve Flink ATP article fine work as always from the Hall of Fame historian. I think it needs more writing and less photos actually, the fashion stuff seemed too cataloggy. But otherwise it's a superb read for a debut issue and it will only get better.

It is a lot of visual photo artsyness, and enough text content but I would guess the next issue may balance more feature content next time than the fashion photogpraphy.
