Great first match as the new world #1. :rotfl: What a joke. Hopefully Jannik quickly reclaims the ranking.

Fritz played well and easily exposed Alcaraz for the indoors mediocrity that he is. And don't give me "it's just Laver Cup/an "exho"" BS because both players were invested and wanted to win.

Alcaraz looks incredibly stupid with that hair and his played followed suit.

It's not really that.

It's lack of Sinner that is demotivating him.

Alcaraz literally practices in order to beat one man: Sinner (by his own and his coach's admitssion). So it's perfectly understandable that he has difficulty deprogramming himself and getting serious to battle for some other ultimate prize that doesn't involve beating Sinner.

Why doesn't the worthless American crappy bum do this at the slams? Instead of getting embarrassed by Carlos at Wimbledon and losing to his grandfather Djokovic at Flushing. This is what I'm talking about with these worthless idiots. When it actually matters they do nothing and look like High schoolers. When nothing is on the line they play freely and like actual pro tennis players with balls and play with confidence

I guarantee you if he meets Carlos or Djokovic in Australia next year in the semis in a best of 5 he will forget how to freakin play tennis

Taylor "I can kick your rear best of 3, but best of 5 with pressure on I'm gonna forfeit" Fritz. Just what we need in a top 5 player LOL. Mentally weak retards. Tired of them. We need a new gen of players that WANT to step up at slams and make a name for themselves and become great, Not Best of 3 losers like Fritz that can't play best of 5 cause the stage is too big for them and their porcelain Annabelle Doll Girlfriends

Lol... no words for this match. Pathetic result if I have to admit. Also, Europe went 0-8 on Day 2, that doesn't look good for them at all.

Not even one thread about any other match this night. Not even a thread about AdM d. Zverev in easy two sets. What is going on with this forum?

@ForaFrank Can you open a thread for each of the matches played in Laver Cup this saturday and start your post with a few lines about the match.
There were 3 singles and 1 doubles match.

This reminds me a bit of Nadal against Isner.Nadal is 8-1 in his career against Isner and the only win Isner got was in the Laver Cup.Wouldn't surprise me a bit if Alcaraz has against Fritz in a couple of years a similar record where Fritz only wins in this kind of environment and on the big stage it's pretty straight forward for Alcaraz.
