it’s annoying that Zverev, as the #3 player in the world, has the right to play the Laver Cup and can’t be excluded from it.
I hope next year he stays on the bench and doesn’t play a match, if he insists on taking part.
Rune seemed fairly unengaged as well.
Do the captains have a multiple-year contract? Or can Noah be replaced next year?

interesting.
the first day there were about half of empty seats.
the calendar is so dense that they have to pay the players huge appearance fees to take part, probably.
and the public is less interested in exhibitions than they think, while the interest for real competition (the slams and professional tour) is growing fast.
