The Big 4, and increasingly, Carlos and Sinner, each attract their fair share of detractors. Some people take issue with a player's style of play, on-court demeanour, or specific comments or actions. Fair enough, preferences and opinions come with the territory.
But what I find particularly curious is when people dislike a player solely because of their fanbase. The player has no real control over who supports them or how those fans behave, yet they end up catching flak for it anyway.
So, out of curiosity: has anyone here ever disliked a player purely because of their fans? And if so - why?
