Easily FAA's best performance of the week in all respects. Served exceptionally well and appears well over whatever issues he might have had in finals (3rd title out of 4 finals appearances now this year).

After these back to back titles, he also appears well on his way to the ATP Finals as well. One of Fritz or Hurkacz will need a big result in Vienna/Paris to surpass him now.

FAA served really well all week. Has to be said. His match against Evans (QF was it?) was a really good level particularly the first two sets. Evo played great before fading in the third. FAA did well to get through that one and once he did his name was written on the trophy.

Really nice to see Felix finally pull it together in finals and have a 3-1 record this year. Not to mention his 19-4 record indoors this year, beating No. 1 Alcaraz and becoming the first Canadian on tour to beat Djokovic (they were like 0-29 prior to Laver Cup). He’s had his share of bad results this year, but he managed to pull it together indoors (despite losing to Kwon).

And it feels like his gf looks more and more like Mirka style-wise 😂

He has an easy draw and should play Basel IMO, esp since he got 2 R1 byes in previous weeks and will get another 1 in Paris. Should make SFs at least with his draw and if he avoids Alcarez then will have a great chance to win another bigger title.

Indoors also take a much smaller toll on the body and points are a lot quicker, combine that with his serve and he prob won't waste too much energy.
