3 Grand Slams happened between these months, of which he won 2. Last time I checked, all Slams were equal in tennis.
Yes, you are correct. I was doing banter. My real issue is with none of this.

My only real issue is with some wishing to belittle Wimbledon as if it is just a fluke of insignificance. In reality it was the very reason that Alcaraz performed so well in the US. When arrogant Baldie fans say “what rivalry” they have no idea how influential Sinner is to Alcaraz’s improvements (and vice versa) which is the essence of a rivalry.

Tokyo has a stronger field this year. If anything, Beijing is much easier to vulture this year. You should be thankful Raz left it for Binner. He is too generous.
I'm not thankful for Bonzi moving to Beijing from Tokyo. Med is in Beijing as well.

The hypothetical territory is one that I always avoid. Not because there are no logical reasons to consider the scenarios, but because the butterfly effect is an uncontrollable beast. Suppose Sinner playing these 5 extras would have added fatigue resulting in not winning Wimbledon and exiting early at USO, or worse, injury. It is not a likely scenario, but if sky is the limit and you play with hypothetical numbers, one MUST considers these too. #1 is not some mathematical guarantee, it's a real achievement that is a culmination of consistent work.
Dude, don't let reason get in the way of the massive cope by Sinnerfans. Sinner remains undefeated when not injured, not banned for doping or not sick to the tummy.

I could care less about a rando Spanish who frequents the forum right around when his countryman wins lecturing me about reality lmfao. Least of all when it is so clear he is projecting hard.

"Bet on the wrong horse", "Carlos' little bitch's fanboy", "doper", yeah tell me again how WE are coping about this looooooool, sounds like a dude who puts too much stock into the achievements of pro sportsmen who don't even know you exist lol.

Let me rephrase this again for the non-idiots who are reading along this thread (AKA in other words, you can stop reading): 38 y.o nursing home applicant DJOKOVIC has played more of a season than Sinner. That is the entire point here. Sinner's 2025 season barely even qualifies as a full time season for World no.1 in his prime. Full stop. Whatever projections one wants to make out of that is purely up to them.
The entire point, you stupid ****, is that hypotheticals are NOT REALITY. If you and the rest of salty Sinner fanboys had the IQ to understand that we wouldn't be having this conversation and your momma wouldn't have to host you in her basement. This does apply to your other two pals, two.

It is what it is.

Don’t forget “when not gifting titles”. Like how Alcaraz gifted Sinner the Wimbledon title, Sinner clearly decided to return the favour by gift-wrapping the USO title. He made a good show of it, too; making it look like he struggled with his serve and forehand, some abdominal tension in the SF. The script must be followed. The duopoly of Sincaraz must split the slams. Dr. Closteboli of the ATP will make sure of this.

Another hilo for Muzzafan, FilipoSVK and the rest of them fanboys to cope hard and gift Sinner tournaments he didn't win. Holy cope.
I don't give a sh*t about coping or Sinner losing tournaments he should be winning. And why should I anyway? He literally reached the final at every Slam this season, plus won two titles and was one MP away from third! It's been a very successful Slam season. But I get that you and other delusional Alca fans have to discharge your passive-aggressiveness on someone else, and Sinner fans are your main target at the moment. So enjoy that for now, it won't last long anyway.

The “salty Sinner fanboys” aren’t going anywhere so you should just ignore them if they make you talk about mommy’s basement.

If that was the case you wouldn't be playing hypotheticals to throw shade at Alcaraz's #1. You're mad and it shows. Period.

I won't. I'll rather laugh at your cope.

That shade was there since Sinner was suspended for the entire three months. Don't pretend that he wouldn't have gained enough points so he would still be #1 now, even if by only a small margin. Every single tennis fan with common sense knows that, only clowns say otherwise.

If if if doesn't exist. Slasher explained it very clearly to you. You can't pretend to know what would have happened, because hypotheticals work in every direction. The only reason you're ignoring that is you just can't take reality.

I'm taking reality very well, thanks for your concern. And reality is that Alca is #1 now, which is well-deserved for his consistent results during the whole season. But if you can't understand how many points Sinner dropped during the ban that could have been prevented from losing, that's your problem, not mine. Like I said: enjoy your time on top. I'm generous enough to wish you that. Can you do the same when Sinner will be #1 again? I doubt it, but let's see.

I don't wish anything bad on Sinner.

But unlike you, I can tell hypotheticals from reality, and I know you can't play them pretending what happened would still happen the same way and what didn't happen would play out the way I wish it would. Because that's... well, at best stupid, at worst disingenuous.

Do I look like I can't distinguish a hypothetical scenario from reality? Lol, you're hilarious. I literally wrote 'hypothetical' in that one post you replied to. I have enough of a brain to distinguis these two terms. But the reality also is that Sinner was suspended for three months, and during this time period he dropped around 2000-2500 points. That's the fact you ca't deny and should acknowledge instead. So of course working with hypothetical scenarios is fully in place here.

Where is @pepita1964 when you need her?
With all this gifting titles and match fixing conspiracy theories lol.
Of course, many newer members don’t remember her.
On the OP, @SetSampras made some blinding insights, before Sinner was winning any big titles.
Sinner went 73-6 last season with 8 titles , that’s as good as any Big 3 season on my watch.
