Sinner likes fast courts and Alca doesn't even play, so what's the deal?

Okay.

If anyone watched sport for a long time, then it would not be much of a surprise, that the media and sponsors focus on the main two.

However, if this paraphrasing is correct, it demonstrates that Zverev by all purposes has a losing mentality.

It's tough to say that but I cannot think of it in any other way.

Usually a dedicated professional would be thinking, in what way can I break up the party and put my own name out there by winning?

That's the mentality boxers need to have, when there are one or two boxers ahead of the rest, like in the heavyweight division.

Or when McEnroe and Lendl were top two in the early to mid 80s, Edberg, Becker and Wilander emerged to challenge them.

And when Sampras and Agassi were the main men, people like Rafter and Hewitt were snapping at their heels trying to get in there. Before that Courier and Becker were always trying to re-establish themselves in the big tournaments.

That's the attitude Zverev needs to have, but he appears incapable of this. Tsitsipas as well has literally given up to a certain extent. And Medvedev.

That's my thoughts if the paraphrasing is spot on.
Sir, you didn't need to write it so long. Just cut it short like this: Zverev is a loser.

Zverev finally expressed his jealousy and frustration. It was HE, who was to be the "next big thing" after Federer, Nadal and Djokovic retire. It didn't happen. He got famous for other, rather sinister matters, though...

If you look at the Court Pace Index right now, courts are actually generally faster than they were back in 2017, when Roger Federer was winning GS and M1000 and did not seem to think there was any problem with the courts.

As for Zverev, I don't really know why a pusher would complain about courts being slow. The way he talks you'd think he's going out there trying to outpower everybody.

That doesn't make any sense. Why should Carlos and Sinner profit from the same surface every week while Zverev is the flexible king of adjustements who plays serve and volley on grass or what?
Yeah this argument doesn't make any sense.

Sinner & Carlos are the aggressive shot makers. If anything faster courts would HELP them.

Zverev on the other hand is a grinder. So unless he change his playing style faster courts wouldn't help him. In fact if anything they would hurt him.

Yes its sad and not a nice thing to say.

But the problem for him is he has totally brought this on himself.

Thinking about his attitude towards Barbara Rittner because she wasn't successful in his eyes. Former Top 25 player.

God damn tournament organisers... they've ruined everything again for Zverev.

By rigging the draw for him to play Rinderknech they got exactly what they wanted.

Sascha is right again & saw all of this coming.

How's he supposed to win tennis tournaments if Alcaraz,Sinner or.. Rinderknech are in his path?

Tournament directors build slower courts to favor Rinderknech!

He's part of the problem

Wimbledon should be the fastest court on tour- double its current speed
US OPEN should be number 2- super fast but also high bouncing
Australia should be medium fast- i guess its fine as is
RG should be slower

there shold be less hard court masters
at least 1 grass master

and at least 1 indoor carpet event

Canada open CPI
2018 28 (SLOW) winner NADAL
2019 42.8 (MEDIUM FAST) winner NADAL

according to a different report the fastest slams of the 2010s (upto 2019)

1.28 2019 Australian Open* DJOKOVIC (def nadal in 3)
1.27 2014 Wimbledon DJOKOVIC (def Federer in 5)
1.27 2016 Australian Open DJOKOVIC (def murray in 3)
1.23 2017 Australian Open FEDERER (def nadal in 5)

1.15 2014 Australian Open WAWARINKA (def Nadal in 4)

Very often, pushers like faster courts because they can't hit through their opponents otherwise. For example, Medvedev is a servebot pusher (like Zverev) who generally likes the conditions to be fast.

I don't agree with Zverev's conspiracy, but let's not pretend like we don't understand why he would like faster hardcourts.
