Six-seeded Emilie Loit of France lost to Melinda Czink 7-5, 6-0 Tuesday in the first round of the Tashkent Open. The 110th-ranked Czink saved two break points in the 11th game of the first set, then won seven straight games in a match that lasted 1 hour, 10 minutes. Evgeniya Rodina, a 16-year-old from Russia, won her WTA debut against compatriot Tatiana Panova, 6-2, 6-4.
