[Yahoo] Murray into semis, Hewitt withdraws (AP)

Teenager Andy Murray upset third-seeded American Robby Ginepri 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 and No. 2 Lleyton Hewitt withdrew with a groin injury Friday at the Thailand Open. Murray, 18, from Dunblane, Scotland, fired 11 aces and 24 winners to advance to his first ATP semifinal in one hour, 28 minutes. Earlier this year he knocked Radek Stepanek, then ranked 15th in the world, out of the second round at Wimbledon.
