[Yahoo] Injured Venus Williams out of China Open (AP)
Venus Williams withdrew from the China Open before her quarterfinal with Poland's Marta Domachowska on Friday because of an injured left knee. Williams hurt her knee Thursday during her victory over Spain's Nuria Llagostera Vives. ``It is a new injury,'' said Williams, who she expects to play in next week's tournament in Guangzhou.
