[Yahoo] Canas files appeal over doping sanction (AP)

Argentine tennis player Guillermo Canas has appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport in a bid to overturn his two-year doping suspension. The ATP Tour suspended Canas after he tested positive for a diuretic in February at the Mexican Open in Acapulco. Canas wants CAS, the highest court in sport, to lift the suspension pending a final ruling in the case.
