Re: WWW. Washigton final: Isner - Nishikori

All the universe will support Kei here
Not sure if Isner will. That Miami match was frightening. I'm going to call Isner favourite so won't be too disappointed if Kei is overpowered.

Kei in 2 ..

he is just too good and his return of service is one of the best ....
Isner on the other side had trouble even with Berankis the other day ...

hopefully kei takes the title.

Question though, why does Isner always do this? always vultures and play his best and burn himself out and when the USO comes he's a no show. Every year.

I don't think Kei will play as stupidly as he did in Miami and I don't think John will play as well as he did in Miami. Toss up really. That 2nd serve will be a huge problem, but John's level hasn't been that high this tournament and fatigue will obviously be an issue.

IW and Miami's courts are more helpful for such a slow movement giant.

Isner has a decent chance at his first 500 title here, kinda surprising he doesn't have one. 3 500 finals and 2 masters finals, but nothing above 250 level won....hopefully Kei continues that and makes him 0-4 in 500 finals.

Isner should be able to take this, he beat the mto specialist in straights the only time they played.

Kei should take full use of the challenge in the final.
In the semifinal with Cilic he had an excellent challenge record.

Notice how both people who disagreed with the op are both butthurt djokovic fangirls.
I don't know how true that is, but it is certainly not universal - I don't support either of them in general. Only if they are playing someone I dislike.
