One of the most competitive R1 matches on paper, who do you think takes this? Dodig is coming off retiring in Cincinnati with a knee issue, but obviously had a great victory v Nadal in Montreal he can take confidence from. Davydenko has still not recaptured his top 5 form and it doesn't look like he ever will.

Davydenko is 18-19 this year, so he really needs one signature win to get him on the right track, and I think this is a good match-up for him. I say he wins in four sets. Vote up people!

Got no idea. Davy is the better player of course but he's about as reliable as Fed's_mate these days. Dodig might fight him down.

Denko, please win this. Please.
Otherwise I will be very cross with you. :(

Oh hell, as if he cares,

I have pretty much given up hope for Davydenko now tbh. Not sure how serious Dodig's knee problem was, but if he can play his game uninhibited he has a very good chance to win this imo. Davydenko is asking to be dominated these days, and Dodig not only has a clear edge on serve, but can also bully a good number of the exchanges.

Tough one to predict, no doubt Dodig will want it more but not sure whether that will be enough...

Dodig for sure, I say in 4 sets.

Was really suprised when I saw the poll results. What exactly has Davydenko done this year (apart from Doha and Munich which were obviously 250's) to have so much votes here

If they play how they've been playing recently, then Dodig will win.
