A Fognini/Kohlschreiber win would be great for tennis.

3 really good matches in the 1st round

Fog- Vesely
Kohli- Giraldo
Coric- Granollers
What a pushfest the latter will be. :spit: :superlol:

You might have some other definition for "good" in tennis.

Conditions are really hot this week in Croatia (35-40 C) so majority of matches will be played in evening time when the clay is extremly slow. Not sure who will benefit from it the most.

monfils to save tennis.
And how exactly Monfils will save tennis? You expect him to announce his retirement from the sport this week?

Assuming Fognini get past Vesely and the italian derby in the QF's, I expect him to win the Mateya's Open.

Some nice matchups, I might drop by for a match or two. 1,5h drive away. Although it's the height of the tourist season so freaking traffic jams everywhere.

I am 3 minutes away, and I have my doubts I will follow the matches live this year. We have the worts heat EVER in UMAG this days. The sea is almost boiling.

Maybe I will go to see Borna tomorrow, but only if he plays the evening match at the central court.
