Of course Ferrer and Cilic and Tsonga/Dimitrov are jokes now. :haha:

Anyway... Fed gotta play better, Feli could very well win in 2 tie breaks.

Hopefully this will finally stop the audacity of Federer fans to talk about other players' alleged vulturing.

Unbelievable. Why didn't they schedule the doubles after Roger's match? The other SF is at 3:00. Nothing like giving Tsonga/Dimitrov the edge. Roger got shafted this whole tournament. Not one day match. Stupid Karl Hale. I guess he wants new blood winning it. They could have scheduled Roger's match at 6:00 at least with the doubles after.

I hope that Roger wins this in tight 2. Enough of 3-setters.

So you have the audacity in patronising Ferrer when you refer to 'vulturing' as one of the players Federer has beaten so far? What a disgraceful fan you are.

So, is he supposed to purposely lose just because Novak, Andy lost early and Dull isn't playing?!

Vulturing meaning entering a tournament with the most of top guys present? Vulturing is playing Viña del Mar or Rio de Janeiro for example.

Agreed. Roger played all matches at night and the final will probably be in the afternoon. So should Roger make it there he will be at a disadvantage.

DISGRACEFUL FAN? Because I'm realistic and not a handbag wielding screaming fangirl?

Roger Federer, now in his 34th year, is carrying the "Big 4" rep alone on his shoulders, a family man, playing late night after late night in the cool clime of Toronto. He showed a lot of courage against David Ferrer, as he was clearly inconsistent in all parts of the game. Many great shots, many poor ones. But he battled and hung in there and served just well enough at the very end to ultimately tame the Little Beast into submission for the 15th consecutive instance.

Roger ought to get a medal, or another award. Simply amazing stuff from one of the greatest to lift a racquet. :worship::bowdown:

Now he plays the left handed Spaniard, no, not the one we usually think of, but Feliciano Lopez, the one who does better in faster conditions than the red dirt.

Will Federer have enough left in his tank to beat the southpaw and make it to his 7th final of the year, that would include 3 masters and a major? Surely he will have to take advantage of the Lopez backhand and return. It will be interesting to see who will control the net and aggressive play, and who will come up with the critical passing shots. Lopez has a slim chance, if he can remain steadfastly aggressive in the aura of someone who has beaten him 10 times without a loss. Let's see what happens.

Respectfully,

+2. They should have scheduled him for a day match at least once.
Yes, agreed, it should have been after Federer's day off.

Novak Djokovic should have had the night match after playing singles and doubles the day/evening before.

Don't know the reason, maybe something to do with ticket sales?
