Call me crazy, but I think Gulbis will make a respectable campaign in RG.

R1 Sijsling
R2 Copejans
R3 Injured Simon/Injured Klizan/Pouille

R16 will be already decent in his current form and if he reaches that far, hell, he can get confidence and be dangerous.

Yeah, excellent draw for him and he´s starting to show some flashes.. I mean flashes of being a semi-decent player.

One question though.. How serious is Simon´s injury?

http://www.eurosport.fr/tennis/rola...mon-la-joue-dos-mineur_sto4745534/story.shtml - Yesterday's news.

Gilles Simon : "Je ne peux ni servir ni renvoyer et ça démarre dimanche"

Translation: "I can neither serve nor return and it starts Sunday".
Well, thanks.. 3.75 on Pouille anyone? :D Anyway, Klizan looks to be relatively OK now accoording to some late reports so that could be a potential R3 opponent for Gulbis. Great chance for everyone to reach the R16 from this section. Then there is GGL/Wawrinka.. and that´s still winnable.

Gulbis might actually have a chance to defend some points, wow.

One for the ages  Gulbis has to win this, semifinal points to defend and it's Sijsling of all people, on clay, in a best of 5

Gulbis is toast the first player he faces who can keep the ball in court, Sijsling isn't capable of that though so he'll survive this one.

If Gulbis messes this up, he'll be on his way to playing Challengers again (drop to ranking #90).

Sijsling in 3 or 4.
Extremely pessimistic from a Latvian fan, though not totally surprising given his latest results.
Sijsling is a non factor on clay, so even a 40% Gulbis should win this one.

Gulbis in 4 he has beaten Dolgopolov so he's slowly regaining form.
