Should be Murray.

Queen's have made a monumental arse of it though. Play should have started well before 1.15 today.
Yep .. It should be Andy.
His ROS is too good for Viktor's serve

TV money. . . have to fit the schedule, y'know.
TV probably did determine the start time, but a glance at the forecast should have seen a schedule change.

Would any of the crowd been overly fussed if Anderson-Simon had been moved to another Court? I don't think so, especially considering the spectators left after seeing just six games of the main attraction.

The weather has been perfect at Queen's all week and yet just four hours of rain has meant that a player will now need to play twice in one day.

The tournament director should be embarrassed.

this is pretty idiotic, one would assume London would have weather forecasting technology

Yeah... they definitely should have moved Anderson - Simon to the other court and played the matches at the same time. That way the crowd, TV viewers and players would have all been happy.

Murray was pretty much owning Troiki today (virtually cruising on serve whilst threatening a couple of Troiki's service games). He had multiple BPs in the 3-3 game and had just got another when Troiki got a sharp case of Outplayeditis in his shoulder and stopped play. It'll be a different match tomorrow of course, and I would expect to see Murray become very pissed off should he fail to break when play resumes.

Every set played tomorrow increases Anderson's chances in the final by about 10% imo (assuming Murray comes through).

Murray to win in straights and then most likely defeat Anderson in straights.

There won't be any fatigue really, he might play at most 6 sets in one day and he's played 5 in one day many times before on surfaces more demanding than this.

*Somebody* ought to be. The scheduling for the whole tournament has been a mess.

We know Wimbledon has, of course, but I don't know about Queen's (after all, they don't seem to be able to stretch to a chip-and-PIN machine for processing credit cards). Still, maybe a phone call to the Met Office would have sufficed?

This.
Some institutions seem determined to live in the 1940s.

Embrace technology, and embrace the progression of policy, people.

Is that true? :haha:
Clowns, I thought Queens Club was upper-class central.
Are entrants expected to pay with guineas and chests of spices?

Troicki's dramatics are even worse than his mate Djoko's

He went from dislocated shoulder to fine in about 5 minutes

Hopefully Muzza takes care O business today.

Andy should win without too much trouble. Troicki was just barely managing to stay in his service games, whereas Grassray was peaking and had no problems on serve at all.

There wasn't any choice. Troicki got injured on the break point, had an MTO, they just walked back onto court to start again when it started raining. Troicki galloped off to sit down, Andy followed a little more reluctantly, then the heavens opened and that was that.

Some questionable comments from Murray fans being made on here - AM only had break points on the last game played, so any claims that he was 'owning' Troicki before the rain delay are a little wide of the mark. I'd still expect Viktor to lose in straights when they resume of course, but also wouldn't be too surprised if it goes to three.

He was all over him. Had five/six(?) break points, and threatened on all of Troicki's service games; unfortunately he was a bit wasteful. Meanwhile, lost two points in his own service games (from 40-0).

Muzza should clinch this even though he's been a bit muggy this week. :)
