I'll take Rafa to outgrind Murray. I love their matches, but I can understand why people with short attention spans would prefer two players with less heart and bigger shots just playing a quickie.

Comparing Rafa's serve now to when he won the US Open, is ridiculous. Wozniacki has better serve than him. If, Andy plays offensive enough, he will win, and should also take out Nole.

just gets worse for nadal. The more matches he wins the more he's not doing his knees any favors. Why he played dubs and singles in back to back masters hard court events with his history of knee problems is beyond belief..

If Murray expects to play an injured Nadal, he's a fool. Nadal will running around vamosing and taking MTO's and WTO's and Uncle Toni will be making it rain on the line judges. If Murray can beat him, it will be in three, and he will have to reach back and find the heart he left in Tokyo. Not time for negativity.

murray is playing poorly lately, so does Rafa but I think Nadal will take this one in three tight sets.
Only a Murray with the lights on and all his tricks can beat Nadal, the current murray is not that bright.

Trust me hun, your man will beat him. Rafa is beat and done.

I called Murray to reach the final at the start so I'll stick with him, though he was poor today. Still, if Nadal can't serve better and cut down on errors and choking, Murray should win.

Tennis dies either way. I'd rather spend 10 hours reading Simon Reed's awesome predictions.

what is up with your annoying jinxing? you obviously like Nadal otherwise so stop with this nonsense that if you say something the opposite will happen.

Nadal and Murray both aren't their best lately so who knows what will happen. the H2H is so lopsided that you have to feel like Nadal comes in with the edge but then again Murray will be trying to get Rafael to run around a lot because of the knee situation.

Nadal has the + because of the H2H/mental and Murray the + as far as physically. could be a close one

Murray should win on form alone and the fact Rafa is clearly completely vulnerable. That's about it. Should doesn't mean much in this match-up, given the mental advantage overall that Nadal has. Court conditions, if this ends up being a day match, also favor Nadal.

I'm more interested in Tio Toni vs Lendl rather than Rafa vs Andy!

Rafa needs help from Andy to win this - the current serve and knee issues won't be sorted in time for the next match. But if anyone might help him - it's Andy. Think tomorrow's match might affect this quite a bit - if Novak loses then Nadal has an incentive to win, if Novak wins then Rafa knows another beating is on the cards so might as well tank in the semis.

His form in Australia would have been good enough for Novak but he's not been that good in IW and Miami - worse in Miami than IW.

Yep, it will be a close match barring a Murray implosion, which is always possible, especially if it's windy.

im not jinxing, im serious, i accepted the fact that hes not gonna do well he hasnt done well since aussie open so i dont know what matches have you been watching lately but seriously dude no one is jinxing here.

and besides, hes a dubs specialist these days, he has the worst serve, wozniacki has a better 1st and 2nd serve than him, so how am i jinxing and i know my shit about him, i criticize him very hard and im sorry if you dont like it.

If Murray is smart he won't come to the net. Rafa hit the backhand passing shot better vs Tsonga than ever in his career. Better than 2009 AO final backhand passing shots.

Tsonga's approaches were worse than my Grandma's, of course Rafa's BH passes were excellent,

That said, I expect Murray to approach better.
