This will be Andy Murray's R2 opponent. A lot of people are very intrigued at the possibility of Istomin playing Murray here, so can he win this match and set up that encounter? Istomin is 13-7 this season and is approaching his career high ranking. He defeated David Ferrer last week in Indian Wells, winning three matches in California before losing a very competitive match with Del Potro in R4. Falla has lost four straight matches since making the third round at the Aussie Open. Falla tends to come and go out of form but will likely have solid crowd support at this event.

Istomin is an offensive baseliner and Falla likes to counter-punch. On paper this should be a win for the Uzbek, but I'm not so sure. I think it's a even match here, with Istomin being the slight favorite. What do you all think? Will it be a close match or a rout for Istomin (or Falla)? Vote up!

The guy practically lives up to his surname. He'll find a way to lose.

I'm pretty sure Istomin will win. He's been very good all year, only losing to form or top players.

I think Falla will win. It will be a even match for sure and since all the expectation are on Istomins shoulders, he has no pressure. Falla is usually very good with these kind of matches and he is also a very underrated outdoor HC player.

Yeah but in IW he has just lost 6-2 6-7 4-6 to Leonardo Mayer, and Mayer some days ago was almost losing to Fabbiano in Dallas..
