Honestly think Bellucci can take this if he gets a good start. Has shown good form as of late, and still looked very fresh in R1. Yet he's played a lot of tennis the past weeks since he played 5 matches in both Rome (because of qualification) and Geneva (won the title!)
Wonder if Bellucci holds up if it goes to 4 or 5 sets? Long match should favor the samurai
Problem with Kei his serve is still somewhat of a liability and back to back matches against Belucci and then Verdasco in the 3rd round might make him hit alot of balls and not get free points off his serve.Nevertheless,he still has a good draw ahead of him.
Bellucci's in top form but this isnt' going to be a 5 setter, it'll be a reasonably comfortable 4 setter for Nishikori. He'll be well rested, healthy, will have the mental edge going in and is simply a better player. But Bellucci might go for broke and it might just work against Nishikori so you never know. Is this match on Wednesday?
