WWW Brisbane QF: [4] Dimitrov vs. Klizan

2nd match on Show Court 1, 1:00 pm (Brisbane Time).

The time is good, too bad they put on SC1, camera angle is terrible.

Btw, this court is covered but sometimes they stop the play because of the rain to dry anyway. I noticed that in Dolgo vs. Klizan match. Stopped twice for about 5 minutes to dry the court. Rain falls on court even with the cover?

About the match, I think matchup is favorable to Dimitrov, Klizan is dangerous, but needs too much time of preparation on the forehand and is erratic in both serve and return. Grigor should win in 2 this time.

pleas klizan in 3
Dimitrov in 3. Klizan is going to make life difficult for dimi but I see dimi managing to close it out just like in the Chardy match.
Klizan is extremely unpredictable, but he´s not winning this unless he really raises his level. He barely defeated Melzer and then he pulled out a miracle against Dolgo. Nice wins, but he´s not playing well. He saved his life in 3 tiebreaks already in this tournament. Dolgopolov would beat Dimitrov, I guess, but Dimitrov might actually be able to take out Klizan in 3.
Nice practice for the new top 10 Klizan
I like Kliza's game and he is certainly dangerous when his game is firing but Dimitrov is the better player and should take this in two tight sets. :yeah:
Is this thread a joke?

Dimitrov in 2 .. SRS GUYS?!??!

Do you really think that the difference between Chardy and Klizan is that significant to call this thread "a joke" ? Yeah, it´s certainly possible that this will be easy for Dimitrov but that´s assuming that Klizan loses his mind and implodes.. If Klizan plays up to his potential, this can be very interesting. It´s not like Dimitrov is a world beater or something.
Klizan is very unpredictable, who knows which version of him will turn up, if he plays well, I can see him beating Dimitrov, but I think in this match, Dimitrov will win, in 3 sets. something like 4-6 6-4 6-2.
This will likely be another tough win for Dimitrov...Another 3 setter.
I don't trust the higher ranked player. Too vulnerable, he is not dominating lower ranked players in anyway, like he should. Not in the past and most likely not this year too.

Of course, I think the difference between Dimitrov and Chardy/Klizan is enormous, especially if Dimitrov play up to his potential.

Ya, probably Chardy and Klizan are close in skill.
Grigor in 2 without too much sweat me feels
Grigor should take this. I'd like to see if he's up to taking out fed in the semis. Its unlikely but will be an interesting matchup
Dimi better wins this one, I can't stand Klizan.
Guys you are joking . Klizan is a very good player and he is a lefty. He defeated Nadal in very tough match last year. Grigor should have done more last year and to be in top 8 now. But i am not sure he could beat Klizan easily. He always up his game against top players.
