After a good win against Souza, Kenny continues his way to the title. Today he had some ups and downs, was a break down in the first set but made it to the tie break and then he took the set. In the second he was broken in the first game, and couldn't find the way to return Souza's first serve. But in the third set Kenny peaked again and after some breaks of serve from both players he took the match to the tie break, where he is a beast. The stats of today prove that De Schepper is not longer an all-serve player, something that he most unbiased analysts have already noticed. Full match can be founded here: http://new.livestream.com/ATP/Bordeaux2014CentreCourt/videos/50816042

Tomorrow he plays against Martín Alund, who is having a very bad season but somehow is peaking in Bordeaux where he made it through the qualies and routined Máximo Gonzalez. This is a great feat since Gonzalez is playing really well these days, only on clay since the USO 2013 (where he defeated Janowicz) and with a W/L record until Bordeaux of 7-1 (winning Santos CH). This means that Alund will be a tricky opponent for Kenny, who is having bad luck with his rivals. After facing the in-form Bolelli in Tunis 1st round (now Bolelli is between the best 32 players of the Rome tournament, who is played by the best players of the world, and with slightly chances against Raonic), now he faced two clay court specialists back-to-back. That can cause him lose matches but will give him enough preparation for Roland Garros :) In Nice he would meet more clay mugs and with a good draw, who knows

De Schepper destroyed Alund in Eastbourne 2013 qualies by 6-1 6-1. Tomorrow it will be tigher, so as I am generous my prediction is De Schepper in 3. The Roland Garros dark horse marches on: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0KSOMA3QBU0

The match will be played tomorrow after the Benneteau - Ramirez Hidalgo match, which will be played not before 2:30pm local time.

de Shepper in 2 and it would be two golden Sets to boot. His match would be so good, that he would advance to the Semis when the tournament decides that there would be no reason to play the Quarters and consider him the winner. However his game would be so awesome he would be banned from playing the Finals here and would be given a ticket to the Finals of RG instead.
