The RG15 dark horse returns to the action, as he sacrified his holidays period only to keep entertaining us :worship: This is the start of the summer clay European swing for Kenny (Bastad, Hamburg, Gstaad and Kitzbühel). After a month playing on grass, now is the time to adapt Kenny's game to clay again. Kenny is no longer a fast court player, he preffers to fight on the dirt like a warrior (look at how he didn't commit to Newport or Bogota or Washington). All the players now will have a strange first week of adaptation to clay again. In that tricky circunstances, it was NID that De Schepper was getting a qualifier. Qualifiers are dangerous and even more in that transition weeks because they are adapted to the court conditions and to the surface. In addition Albot played a clay Challenger last week. Kenny always gets tricky opponents in the First Round: in form players, surface specialists or qualifiers that are get used to the conditions.

Anyway, despite this very bad luck, I expect Kenny and his sexy game to prevail. De Schepper in 2 tight sets.

:worship: Great constructive analysis, in addition the match will end in the middle afternoon, a good moment to eat something :)

Oh well, Wimbledon is really over.
Wimbledon is over but Kenny keeps rolling the tour until this corrupt ranking system forces him to play Challengers

Always good to see important and knowledgeable users on the forum giving support to my unbiased predictions about the Bordeaux sensation.

There needs to be a poll option for "not anyone watching, that's for sure".
I understand your frustration about the fact that the match won't be streamed: having a De Schepper match without TV coverage is like playing the World Cup final without TV coverage. But the crowd will be full of people, that's for sure. So don't worry too much about that injustice mate :)

That is some seriously bad scheduling. He could have gone deep in either Newport or Bogota- both are very serve & volley friendly.
Kennith of Schepper is just exhibiting his prowess on all surfaces

Kenny better player. Albot better on clay. Kenny's serve can save him even if he's outplayed. Very tough to call this one. Value probably on the dog whoever that turns out to be.
IMO Kenny is a slight favorite, maybe 1.90 or so.

I understand your point. It looks like Kenny is trying to stay in Europe. Last year he went to Newport and lost against a fair player like Alex Kuznetsov that had a good day, I imagine that the travel didn't worth the result. Flying to another country to play only one tournament is something that some players do but maybe De Schepper didn't find it useful.

Indeed, Kenny is an all-round player right now. After all he was close to defeat Benneteau some weeks ago, the man that took Federer to five sets in his most successful Grand Slam.
