Milos Raonic and Marin Cilic are interesting rivals who always try to show not only high-quality, but also beautiful tennis. The public simply adores when these opponents cross racquets to determine who is the best athlete to date.

Who will win? (y)

Theoretically Cilic should be favorite, because he is a great returner of big serves (at least used to be), but he played 2 5setters, so he might be tired.
Still would take Cilic here though.

Cilic and Raonic have done more damage to tennis than any players in history.
They beat high-potential guys like Tsitsipas, and then bend over to the big3 (except for when Cilic beat Federer at the USO and beat an injured Rafa at AO, and when Raonic beat subpar Federer at Wimbledon).
Wish they'd both retire, because neither are good enough to win a slam ever again, they just get in the way....

Just checked their H2H and was a bit surprised that they have not met that many times. Only 3 times with Cilic leading 2-1. On HC it’s 1-1 though with Raonic winning the last one way back to 2013 IW. Should be an interesting match. I really can’t predict.

Cilic may be gassed from 5 setters but he tends to do really well against servebots. Raonic is playing well so I’m leaning towards him atm.

Raonic usually drops his level after a good match so I wouldn't be surprised if he loses in 3-4 sets to Cilic but hopefully I'm wrong, 360 points would help him for the upcoming tournaments.

Sounds like you just don't want Djokovic to pass Nadal in slams.

On topic, if Raonic is still healthy, I like his chances here on these courts. Cilic can handle his game better than most, though, and is playing pretty well himself. Neither outcome would surprise me.

Hilarious... He's all too willing to give Rafa 'was injured' reason for his loss but strangely enough doesn't mention Federer's fall against Raonic deep in the 4th set which hurt him that basically cost him the match.

Typical!

That fall was already in the fifth at 2:3 40:40 and cost him the break. What cost him the match were two consecutive double faults at 5:6 40:15 in the fourth

... Oh the irony..... The irony being that right now Milos Raonic is probably the biggest factor right now in Nadal getting that 'Double Career Slam'.He's Nadal's best chance as Federer won't beat Nole in the semi's because it'll be a night match and Fed serves poorly during the evening so Milos is Nadal's only saviour right now.

Of course,if Raonic beats Djokovic rest assured you'd be damn well glad he 'doesn't retire' because he'll hand the DOUBLE CAREER SLAM to Rafa on a silver platter.
