I hope you're right, but also Ivo's confidence probably won't be high facing a guy he's 0-11 in sets against.

As has been said, the H2H suggests a Melzer win, but you just can't ignore that 2011 season. If it never happened, I'd say the Austrian in 3. I'll still be nice and say Melzer in 4, but it won't be easy.

Melzer is lucky to be seeded average top 50 player, Ivo is going to be worse with every season and his serve is also not so dangerous than before. Ivo´s serve wasn´t that good in his first 2 matches this year, so i would be surprised if Melzer didn´t manage to break him at least twice. I would say Melzer in 4 sets, can loose 1TB maybe.
