It will be only his 2nd GS main draw match (1st one at Wimby last year vs Dimitrov) and he'll play in front of 15,000 people probably in the night session and his opponent is surely not unbeatable :worship:
I'm going for the 'upset' and am going to say Stebe in 4 or 5 (but will lose the 1st set probably due to nervousness) as he'll be the fitter player.
Hewitt in 4 sounds about right. I think Stebe is a good shotmaker and can fight pretty good at times, but I think he will be mentally weak in important moments; and to make matters worse, the entire Aussie crowd will be against him.
That said, if Hewitt loses this -- surely he should retire because that would be pathetic. But in all honesty I want Stebe to win.
haven't seen a lot from stebe so far but i guess he's just not mature enough to rise to such an occasion. second gs match ever, aussie open, night session vs. the local hero, nah, too much for the kid. hewitt in 4.
