Nadal and Djok-Strap are reguarded as the best two players in the world by ranking, but we know that isnt true after watching this years finals.

NoKrap as weeks #1 leader is pretty LOL, not even close to being the best as we saw in this tournament.

Without covid and an arrow to The Maestro's knee, novak would be sitting at #3 and rafa would be #2 (as usual).

Its hard to respect rankings in the covid clown season, cant lose any pts.

So, without Rogers injury and covid, Novak would be No 3 in rankings ?

Ok .... if that makes you sleep better

As always overreacting with this part of the season, Paris and WTF in last years had been won by Dimitrov, Zverev, Tsitsipas, Sock or Khachanov

So Federer would have won at least a slam and couple of Masters to get to #1 in case of a full ATP calendar... not entirely impossible but at his age with a fuller schedule, I just refuse to take it seriously.

Yeah, 3-setter tournament winners should get relatively more value and more points for winning the tournament than 5-setter tournament winners. Sounds logical and rational.

The WTF is one tourney played on one surface. The rankings reflect a combination of surfaces, consistency, scheduling and all the things that go into being a top tennis player.

Anybody can get hot one week, especially a big server on an indoor court. WTF is awesome because we get to see the top players against each other, but the rankings show who the top players are in a full season.

Right , because indoor HC is the only surface that exists in tennis and therefore counts for the rankings

Medvedev will remain a clay mug and grass mug until he can prove otherwise

If this tournament showed anything, it's that poorly motivated Djokovic, playing without proper pace, no bhdtl and with atrocious net game, screwed himself out of the final by the skin of his teeth.

Rankings are not a snapshot of who happens to be paying the best at a given moment in time. They are based on cumulative results over a specified span of time. If they were based solely on short-term results, they’d be changing drastically from week to week, even day to day, and would be meaningless.

Djokovic and Nadal barely lost. They could have been meeting in the finals if Medvedev or Thiem decided to mug around for about 10 minutes.

So this is stats showed by the GOAT and worthy number one? Sure, the season was short, but this was supposed to be his best season where he gonna prove himself as the best player, he sure didn't. And the fact you are giving a F at RG where he was humiliated as a good result say it all.

Most UTS GOAT Points won in 2020 season (so pure 2020 season results):

Useless. They giving points for the ranking, which was saved this year .
