With Federer out injured, Djokovic would be far and away the best grass court player.

Thiem and Medvedev are useless on grass and the youngsters don't have much experience on the surface at all. I don't think they've even progressed past R4.

The only chance of an upset would've been a GOAT serving performance by someone.

Wimbledon might have been the most NID slam win with Djokovic not even dropping a set along the way.

Djoko has yet to lose a match this year. If he goes on to be undefeated, its pretty safe to say he would have won wimbly.

Another thread for worshiping Djokovic fangirls of what woulda shoulda done the vassals' king.

Cry me a river. Roland Garros is going on and that's what matters. Next Wimbledon is in June 2021 so it's a pointless thread.

On paper, yes.

In reality, anything can happen, including defaults and losses against the likes of Sam Querrey.
Nothing is certain..who saw Djokovic being disqualified at the USO. After all the slams he has played in. He was the favourite. But that doesnt mean you will definitely win. I thought Federer would win 10 straight Wimbledons when I saw him around 2005. Nadal had other ideas...

OP is not even a Djokovic fan, he is just asking this, because the field on grass is really scarce. Even Next Gen is mostly clueless on it, maybe Raonic could have had a good run this year, but he cannot defeat Djokovic as Novak has all the answers in his ROS.
Yes, this was probably the most missed opportunity in recent years (even bigger than this past USO), with Murray declined and Nadal not the best on grass anymore and Federer probably even then out if Wimbledon would have been held.

Overly sensitive Federer fans somehow think this is a direct attack of their hero, but at least someone gets it.

Grass is a unique surface that players rarely get to play on. With Djokovic being the most experienced and a declining field of older players, an upset would be very unlikely.

Most likely scenario would be Djokovic running into Wawrinka in Round 3/4 and losing to him. Wawrinka doesn't have to be great on grass to beat Nole. He's in his head.

Exaggeration. He won the 2018 Wimbledon SF and 2019 Wimbledon Final by winning an extra point or two at key moments.

Most NID slam? No, it's the most marginal slam, IMO. He could have very well lost the last two Wimbledon titles he won.

Nothing is certain, but, yes, he would have been a huge favorite. Maybe Tsitsi would have posed a threat?

he would've been the overwhelming fav for sure as he is the most accomplished grass court player of the decade, but that alone doesn't necessarily translate to getting handed the trophy on a silver platter.

Wawrinka is hilariously bad on grass, keep living in your fantasy world.

This I what I think too.
