Murray played quite well today aside from a few points here and there. Considering he took two sets off peak Djokovic at RG whilst not even playing that well and some gamesmanship from Djokovic, there's no doubt he'd have pushed and even beaten Nole today if he had played him instead of Roger. Thoughts?

On topic Murray has only defeated exhausted after DelPotro epic Djokovic in Wimbledon, but was straightsetted by both Dimitrov and Federer. If Nole beats Fed on Sunday the myth about Andy being better on grass than Djoko will be totally irrelevant - 3 Wimbledons vs 1 is just too much.

Based on the high level of tennis that was on display here, both players would have obliterated Djokovic based on the level we've seen from him so far in this tournament. But Djokovic is capable of similar levels against quality opponents so it's just hypothetical. Elite players have this ability to raise the game of the other simply because they have to. Novak hasn't needed to yet, and both Fed and Murray didn't need to before today.
