Hi,
I used to play a bit of tennis when I was a kid, nothing serious, I did not have formal lessons. Now many years later at 36 I'd like to get into playing again and looking to join a club, but first I need a good racquet. After a bit of research, the Wilson Juice 100 BLX is looking pretty good, but it is probably for players much more advanced than me. On the other hand, it'd be nice to start with something good and not have to replace it.

I don't want to turn up with something like this though and get laughed at for having way too much racquet for my level! Or is it perhaps about right?

I'd rather not get a beginner racquet and have to replace it soon, plus I wouldn't say I'm a complete beginner but probably not far from it!

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

it's ok, a bit of a trampoline for me. very powerful, thick beams, if you are into that sort of thing.
