Harrison and Albot at least had a high-ish level for a period of time. That cannot really be said for Daniel and Carballes Baena, but at least they’ve both hung around for a while, bouncing between 250s and challengers. Basic appeared from nowhere, won a title, then went back to the abyss. It’s him by a wide margin.

I understand why people would vote for Basic, but remember who he beat in the semifinals of Sofia.

You mean a Stanimal coming off knee surgery?..sort of like saying, remember who H. Chung beat in the 4th Rd. Down Under in 2018.
Basic 2018 Sofia
F. Mayer, Kohlschreiber, Marterer, Wawrinka, Copil

Harrison 2017 Memphis
Kravchuk, Querrey, Dzumhur, Young, Basilashvili

Daniel 2018 Istanbul
Berrettini, Bedene, Dutra Silva, Chardy, Jaziri

Carballes Baena 2018 Quito:
Gaio, Lorenzi, Jarry, Martin, Ramos-Vinolas

Albot 2019 Delray Beach
Karlovic, Kyrgios, Johnson, MacDonald, Evans

No player on the list of who these guys beat is ANYWHERE close to Stan. I don't judge things like this based on current form. I look at career achievements. Again, not even close.

Lol, what the f do Stan's career achievements have to do with his level, the challenge he posed?

Stan was absolutely dreadful.

Basic had a virtual bye to the final.
