Here are some choices,

-Patrick Rafter, held the no.1 spot for only 1 week. won 2 slams and reached 2 other slam finals.
-Andy Roddick, held the no.1 spot for 13 weeks, won only 1 slam, the 2003 US Open.
-Juan Carlos Ferrero, held the no.1 spot for only 8 weeks, won only 1 slam.
-Carlos Moya, held the no.1 spot for only 2 weeks, won only 1 slam.
-Thomas Muster, held the no.1 spot for only 6 weeks, won only 1 slam.
-other, make your case with someone else.

For me, its pretty obvious, its hands down Andy Roddick, he has only one dimension to his game, his serve. thats it.

Rafter played really incridible, won many titles and don't deserve be the Worst.

Roddick could win 3 or more Slams but with Federer it was hard.

Ferrero could win more Roland Garros but with Kuerten it was hard.

Moya could not win Slam that will be good for the tennis in my opinion.

Muster was a great clay player of 90's and could win more Roland Garros.

No Doubts that the answer is Moya!

Rios. To truly be a #1 you have to get the most prized possession in the sport for God's sake, unless your Jelena Jankovic and think otherwise.

The OP is hilarious. The worst number one is someone who was #1 for the longest out of that group and who has been around the top 10 longer than them as well. But yet he's the worse. Okay.

Obvious answer is obvious. It's Rios. No slam at all.

Well, worst needs a bit more precise definition. If by worst you mean achievement wise worst then it's one thing, but for me worst means a player with worst game style, and frankly Rafa tops everyone here. His mentor Moya is close though.

Ríos is your answer missing his shot with Korda. He was talented but slamless

Rafter won the least amount of titles to all other World No. 1's with 11.

Roddick is the worst IMO, all serve and nothing else.
