Clinical volleying against a Serb who slipped over every second point. Reminds me of a certain 2009 match I have a vague recollection of.

Meeh. Lajovic is clay player.
We have only clay here. So it's a even bigger meeh for that.
Not to say how it hurts our youngsters who don't know how to move outside clay.
Even Novak had hard time moving on grass in his early years. What chance do others have when currently world #1 needed few years to have at least a decent movement on grass?

True that. And besides Lajovic we have nothing new to offer.

But that problem is partially on the state. In Serbia we have few specialised tennis courts with different courts.

And clay being predominant in accessibility.

When I saw the trainer come out I thought Fossil was about to retire but in fact it was for Lajovic :bigwave:

Even current Navratilova would routine Lajovic on grass. Good to have Tommy back though.
