Because I believe we should understand Wimbledon seeding formula in slightly other way than dencod16, this is my calculation and seeds prediction for this year singles event.

The main difference is the understanding of "12-month" period. I believe, according to one rule from ATP Rulebook, that 12 months is equal to 52 weeks. It means these periods are:
* 23/06/2014 – 21/06/2015 (which consists of the following grass tournaments: Wimbledon 2014, Newport 2014, s'Hertogenbosch 2015, Stuttgart 2015, Halle 2015, Queen's Club 2015 and challengers held in June 2015 - Manchester, Surbiton and Ilkley), and
* 24/06/2013 – 22/06/2014 (which consists of the following grass tournaments: Wimbledon 2013, Newport 2013, Queen's Club 2014, Halle 2014, s'Hertogenbosch 2014, Eastbourne 2014 and challengers held in June 2014 - Nottingham I and Nottingham II).

Adding 100% points earned at all tournament from first period and 75% points earned at the best tournament from second period, seeding for Wimbledon 2015 is as follows:

1) Djokovic
2) Federer

3) Murray
4) Wawrinka

5) Nishikori
6) Berdych
7) Raonic
8) Ferrer

9) Cilic
10) Nadal
11) Dimitrov
12) Tsonga

13) Simon
14) Anderson
15) Lopez
16) Isner

17) Goffin
18) Monfils
19) Robredo
20) Troicki
21) Bautista Agut
22) Gasquet
23) Karlovic
24) Mayer

25) Seppi
26) Kyrgios
27) Tomic
28) Cuevas
29) Sock
30) Fognini
31) Garcia Lopez
32) Thiem

Seeds 1-8 will be drawn to face seeds 25-32 in 3rd Round, while seeds 9-16 will be drawn to face seeds 17-24 in this round.
Seeds 1-4 will be drawn to face seeds 13-16 in 4th Round, while seeds 5-8 will be drawn to face seeds 9-12 in this round.
Seeds 1-4 will be drawn to face seeds 5-8 in Quartefinal.
Seeds 1-2 will be drawn to face seeds 3-4 in Semifinal.

I think you're right. :yeah:

They usually use the last 52 weeks, but this year we have another week before Wimbledon, so they lead to two interpretations if Eastbourne 2014 will count as the 100% or the 75% rule points.

Mainly differences are:

-Tsonga being seeded #12 and not Simon.
-Isner being seeded #16 and not Goffin.

They should announce earlier in the week, so we will see soon which version is actually correct.

1-4 to play seeds 29-32 in R32 , 5-8 seeds 25-28.

9-12 drawing 21-24; 13-16 drawing 17-20.

There is also unofficial rule, since 2008. Nadal in opposite half from Djokovic at Wimb./USO/AO.

Since 2012. unofficial rule being slightly amended, though; Nadal&Federer in opposite half from Djokovic at Wimb./USO/AO. and Nadal&Federer in opposite half from Djokovic&Wawrinka at AO/USO.

It's not true
Sorry, you were 100% right about seedings 1-8 drawing 25-32 etc., but let's see if I'll be right about unofficial rules for Wimb.'15 and USO'15, because they can change it again as at 2012. when after eight consecutive HC slams with peak-Federer/young-Djokovic in the same half and Nadal in the other, they changed it to old-Federer/Nadal in the same half and peak-Djokovic/Stanimal in the same half at HC slams (AO/USO) or Djokovic at Wimb./AO/USO.

Nadal - Ferrer R4 is a fix of tournament
Whose quarter ? because no need to ask whose half ;)

I'll go with Federer' quarter, regardless Wawrinka or Murray landing in Federer's half.

Federer and Nike might like Wawrinka much more this year too, but the Brits could make it easier for Murray this year as those in The Commonwealth down-under.

Wawrinka wasn't a top 8 seed until Australian Open 2014, let's not act like he was a top player back in 2012.
Btw he lost to Almagro at AO 2012, who was in Federer and Nadal's half.

In 2012 ?
Also no one expected Wawrinka to trouble Djokovic at AO 2013...
Since AO'12 it's Federer/Nadal together instead of Federer/Djokovic at HC slams, Djokovic in the other half at AO/USO and Wimb. too.

Since USO'12 it's Djokovic/Wawrinka at AO/USO together, but you were right about Wawrinka becoming HC Stanimal only the next HC slam, AO'13, Djokovic escaping luckily 12-10 in the fifth set 4R, Berdych in QF supposed to be a much bigger threat after his USO'12 SF.

Down under they want it easier for the ordained Queen's boy, so he escapes Djokovic there '13, '14, '15 and also 8,9,10,11 (when Federer/Djokovic AO/USO half was the rule of thumb 2008-11).

It was really about Nadal; since USO 2007 never in Djokovic half at Wimb/AO/USO, but almost always at RG.

Federer joining his fellow brother (in Nike) 2012. so that they can laugh their bellies out together whenever they see Djokovic' half (as Bernardes Rafa's shorts).

I wouldn't be surprised if Federer will get next draw:
1R: LORENZI
2R: RAMOS-VINOLAS/GIMENO-TRAVER
3R: FOGNINI
4R: SIMON
QF: FERRER
SF: WAWRINKA
:D :D :D

If possible, Agut or Goffin instead of Simon, bitte and por favor, no.

If Agut fur Federer then bitte Goffin para Nadal, no.

If Ferrer fur Federer then Nishi for Nadal, but muy muy mucho better for tennis and fans and hungry kids in Africa if vice-versa, because everybody wants to see Federer-Nadal SF, no.

And, for god's sake, no Kyrgios, Kokk, Zverev, Chung, Coric, Rublev or any other young futur (hijo de puta) I mean dear respectable teenager in top 500-600, in Rafito's quarter this Wimb., no, doctors say it could be chronic teenageritis.

Sincerely yours !

UncleT and Mirka

p.s.

BTW Berdych, Cilic, Raonic, Isner, Muller, Mahut etc. mierda I'm running out of my ink, but you know what I mean my dear Nike, KiAO, Wimb., TV and other CEO and directors, no.
