Great to see Verdasco showing so much fight this week, but have to think that between his first two matches, he'll be somewhere between figurative walkover and literal walkover in 3R- though it isn't like he plays long points, so who knows
are you being serious? has there been a GS event in the last 5 years that he didn't play multiple 5 setters? he's as done as it gets, the spanish doctors have done wonders to his body but has left his mentality deteriorated completely

Good effort by Domi to get a couple of wins on the grass this season. It should give him more confidence on the surface in future :)

I love Dominic but that was a disgusting loss. Verdasco's R1 match went to 13-11 in the 5th set and Thiem is the one who got tired in the 5th set today.

Still, good display by Nando. Very good win for him and great mental toughness, although hopefully Stan destroys him next round.

Nando's physical game is still destructive (and sexy!) when on. It's great that his mental game has been there this Wimbledon too. Now? He has nothing to lose against Stan. Whether he wins or not, good job :yeah:;).

Thiem was better player all match and got mugged at the end. Shame. In 12 months time he will be winning these sort of matches in straight sets.

Happy with Thiem's progress on grass but disappointed as he could easily have won this. He was the better player in the fourth set and a break up in the fifth.

On the other hand, Verdasco-Wawrinka is a far more exciting matchup.
