Probably one of the biggest matches of Dan Evans' career tomorrow. It'd be such a big boost to get in the main draw.

I'd be more confident of him beating Sugita over three sets but his fitness is a worry.

Really, really rooting for Ymer, Herbert, and Brown. Would also love to see Couacoud and Roger-Vasselin.

It's definitely not worse than Jan Mertl being in the same situation :spit:

The guy is 33, a claycourter in an awful form, and he's never won a match in Wimbledon before.

predicted winners tomorrow:

Inigo CERVANTES vs Pierre-Hugues HERBERT
Marton FUCSOVICS vs Nikoloz BASILASHVILI - originally was going with basilashvili but fucsovics..he has to break through at some point
Horacio ZEBALLOS vs Ivan DODIG
Adrian MENENDEZ-MACEIRAS vs Michael BERRER
Guido PELLA vs Elias YMER
Andreas BECK vs Alejandro FALLA - really want to be wrong here
Igor SIJSLING vs Paul-Henri MATHIEU
Hiroki MORIYA vs Matteo DONATI
Andrea ARNABOLDI vs Dustin BROWN
Jan MERTL vs John-Patrick SMITH
Edouard ROGER-VASSELIN vs Vincent MILLOT
Luca VANNI vs Luke SAVILLE
John MILLMAN vs Enzo COUACAUD
Aleksandr NEDOVYESOV vs Yannick MERTENS
Kenny DE SCHEPPER vs Stephane ROBERT
Daniel EVANS vs Yuichi SUGITA - also want to be wrong here. think dan needs to win in 3 or 4 because if it goes 5 he's not winning

Looks plausible. Think that Robert, Nedovyesov, Mertl and Basilashvili will win though.

That's true. Imagine if either of them made it to the MD and Fucsovics as a wimby juniors champ doesn't :spit:

Eww, new GS GOAT Arnaboldi is in a wrong section.

Robert can qualify for another GS :hearts:

And as usually there are unexpected players fighting for MD, as mentioned already.

More experienced on grass than JP, also has had some good wins in R1 and R2.
:smash: Mertl was 0-7 on grass before his two wins here, while Smith was 19-15

He isn´t really. He has a title from a Czech futures and these two wins in previous rounds, but instead of that he never won a match on grass. JPS played also more matches there with better W-L ratio.

Great matches in overall, gotta love Wimbledon qualies. The players will have time to rest and relax before the Main Draw. Big French affair between Kenny de Schepper and Stephane Robert, it will be a tough fight.

the five set final round qualifying format leaves ample opportunities for muggery/choking from both guys :Din this one. And I am a PHM fan.

In the one match they have played, PHM squeeked by via third set tb in a match that saw both guys blow numerous opportunities.

Sisjling has a really good firs serve but PHM has the better ground game.

I am going to predict PHM in four sets.

Dodig and Falla must win easily (3-0 or 3-1) and I think Nedo will win, Mertens only have won Krajicek in poor form and Bourgue (claycourter and playing on clay last sunday).

Mertl has been lucky with draw. JP should win but i'm not sure

ERV will win too

So are there lucky loser positions available too? I heard Monfils was questionable, others maybe too? Anyone heard something?
