Krajicek is in dreadful form. But, yes, Mertens on grass should be like Bambi on ice.

Kubler retired in his previous match on grass IIRC.

And Cervantes has qualified here before. He knows how to play on grass and has a big serve. I would say he is the favorite against Corrie, though we might see some tie-breakers there.

Basilashvili is another player that interests me, plays tennis aggressively, very attacking.

remember him being accused of fixing in the past but not heard much since.

would like to see him qualify, dustov dropping a set to bloomfield

I think Copil has a very good chance of qualifying but now that I said that, let's take it match by match and first beat Millot

That 2nd section with Kuznetsov/Beck/Kamke/Falla is pretty sick, I expect a Kuznetsov - Falla section final. Also Melzer/Sijsling/Mathieu section is interesting, tough to predict a qualifier

Herbert should roll past Arguello and I expect him to go all the way and qualify

Looking forward for Basilashvili, hope he qualifies

Also Brown has no excuse if he fails to qualify

Ilkley Qualies were on indoor hard not grass why Kubler had to retire

[11] Adrian Menendez-Maceiras ESP v Jimmy Wang TPE
[WC] Joshua Milton GBR v [31] Michael Berrer GER

Four players that know how to play on grass. Wang struggled in his first round; Menendez often does well at Roehampton; Milton in the best form of his career; and Berrer having a rather good season.

Wang as been in bad form I think it will be difficult for him to qualify. He has 3rd round pts. to defend, so his ranking could take a huge hit.

Yeah, it will be tough. He isn't in an easy section and I certainly can't see him reaching the third round if he qualified (or got a LL).
